PUGLIA RETREAT

22 - 26 May 2027

4 nights of movement, sunshine and slow Italian living.

The Venue

Our retreat takes place at Masseria Specula, a beautifully restored 17th-century farmhouse just a short walk away from the coast of Southern Italy.

Dating back to 1611, the Masseria has been carefully renovated using original materials and local techniques, creating a sense of timelessness.

With the whole venue to ourselves, the Masseria offers a space for peace, calm and total serenity, the perfect setting to unwind and step away from the pace of daily life.

From the thoughtfully curated interiors to our freshly prepared Puglian feasts, immerse yourself in Southern Italian warmth, hospitality and tradition.

It’s so beautiful, you might never want to leave.

All of our meals are freshly prepared by our in-house chefs, a team of Italian grandmas from Puglia, using family recipes passed through generations.

Think local ingredients, Mediterranean flavours and plenty of pasta. Long brunches and slow evening dinners are all part of the experience.

The Food

Sample evening menu

Spaghetti with fresh tomato, green beans & “cacioricotta” cheese; chickpea patty served with turmeric mayonnaise and Zucchini carpaccio.

Cannelloni stuffed with ricotta and spinach; burrata, giuncata, mozzarella nodona cheese, served with lettuce, arugula & melon salad.

Seafood cavatelli pasta, mussels au gratin and cherry tomato & green bean salad.

Paccheri pasta with fish & tomato sauce; sea bream with baked potatoes.

All dietary requirements can be catered for, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Please let me know about these on booking.

The Yoga

I will guide you through twice daily practices, including a welcome flow on arrival, to help you ground and settle into our new space.

Our morning practices will be dynamic and energising, inspired by vinyasa, mandala and Rocket yoga. We will begin each practice with a short guided meditation, and always end in a deep, blissful savasana.

Our days will close with a gentle yin session, inviting you to soften, rest and wind down as the sun sets behind us.

For those who are curious (or just can’t get enough), there will also be optional inversions workshops on two of the afternoons, with space to try out arm balances, inversions or any other poses you’ve been curious to explore.

All classes are open level, with options offered throughout, so you have space to play or rest as much as you need. It is a holiday after all!

Ella’s retreat was dreamy. The yoga was 5 stars, the food was amazing, everything was organised so well and went really smoothly so we didn’t really need to think very hard about anything! A holiday for the mind and body!

This was my first yoga retreat and even though I booked it last minute, it turned out to be such an incredible experience. The location, food, yoga, and activities were all so thoughtfully planned - I loved every moment. I left feeling completely relaxed, restored, and inspired. Ella was an amazing host - so warm and organised, which meant we could truly switch off and enjoy the experience. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to join and can’t wait for the next one.
